On Wednesday, March 29, starting 3 am, From the Soundboard will close out Women's History Month by focusing on the artist that was described by Billboard as the "archetype for the modern-day feminist punk". We will also focus on her band which was described by The Virgin Encyclopedia of Popular Music as “one of the most inventive, original and genuinely exciting groups to emerge during the punk era". The artist was known as Poly Styrene and her band was X-Ray Spex.
